The Ruins of St. Paul's is the remains of the
church after a fire destroyed the St. Paul's College and its affiliated church
in 1835. Only the façade of the church, a significant portion of its
foundations, and the stone steps in front of the church survived. Since then,
it has become a world-renowned site of the St. Paul's Church.
This unique blend of Chinese and Western architectural elements makes
it a one-of-a-kind stone wall among Catholic churches worldwide.
